Custom decorated apparel is clothing personalized with your logo, message, or artwork using techniques like screen print, embroidery, DTF, transfers, sublimation, or vinyl—turning blank garments into standout pieces for businesses, teams, schools, events, and more.
AG Custom Apparel is our sister company, and we print all apparel orders in-house to keep quality high and costs down. We also offer free shipping on qualifying orders (some restrictions apply).
Direct-to-Film (DTF)
Is a cutting-edge garment decoration method where designs are printed onto a special transfer film using water-based inks and then heat-pressed onto fabric. Unlike traditional methods like screen printing or vinyl, DTF can be applied to a wide range of materials—cotton, polyester, blends, and even performance wear—without pretreatment.
Why Use DTF for Garment Decoration?
Full-Color, High-Detail Prints: DTF excels in vibrant, detailed, and photo-realistic images that pop on garments.
Soft Feel & Stretch: The finished transfer is lightweight with excellent flexibility and a soft hand feel.
No Minimums: Perfect for one-offs, small runs, or custom drops without the setup costs of screen printing.
Versatility: Applies to light or dark fabrics, on t-shirts, hoodies, hats, totes, and more.
Embroidery
Pros of Embroidery:
Professional Look & Feel
Embroidery offers a polished, high-end appearance that’s perfect for corporate wear, uniforms, and upscale branding.
Durability
Embroidered designs are stitched directly into the fabric, making them long-lasting and able to withstand repeated washing without fading or peeling.
Perceived Value
Embroidered apparel often carries a premium feel, enhancing the perceived value of the garment—great for first impressions and brand reputation.
Cons of Embroidery:
Higher Cost
It’s generally more expensive than printing, especially for large or highly detailed designs due to setup and stitching time.
Limited Detail
Small text or intricate designs can be difficult to reproduce cleanly with thread, leading to potential distortion or loss of clarity.
Fabric Restrictions
Not ideal for lightweight or stretchy materials like performance wear, as the stitching can pucker or distort the fabric.
